Rub a Dub Dub

Tragically, bath day does not come around as often as it probably should at Chez Newhouse. When it does roll around, the boys really enjoy splashing in the water and getting clean. Here's Michael chillin' in the tub. He likes to kick the water out of the tub and onto his Mommy.
Here's Michael all fresh and clean. He loves when I rub lotion on him. He gets all smiley and laughs.
Ryan usually gets the last man in the tub position, but last time, he made a play for the middle spot. He likes to try and suck the water out of the washrag as I clean his face and neck. Tsunami Ryan soaked his Mommy during this little soiree in the tub.
Ryan - clean and happy with himself.
King James takes up residence in the tub. Notice that his hernia is almost completely a thing of the past. On our last visit to the doctor, she thought he might have already had the surgery. Luckily, during mid-September it stopped growing and started shrinking. The surgeon told us he didn't think that James' hernia would fix itself because it was so large, but Bob and I are very excited that it seems to have healed - only the excess skin is left.
Clean James - don't tell him that Ryan added a little extra liquid to the water before he got in.

  1. Your boys are adorable! Yes, I agree about the hernia. It does look a lot better. It also means that he won't need surgery if it isn't herniated. I think he'll probably just have an outie (a major one at that lol), but it doesn't matter. He's healthy and that's all that matters.
