Today, Bob & I purchased our very own child transport machine. I think Bob's greatest worry (after how we'll pay for three kids worth of diapers) was a vehicle we could use to bring the whole family home in. Now, we have a behemoth of a vehicle with the tragically low gas mileage to go along with it. Take that Al Gore. We both are happy that Bob has a car again (since we sold my beloved jeep to his sister a couple of weeks ago), and I am ecstatic that it's not a van of any sort having spent the majority of my childhood riding in one of my parents' many vans. Now we just have to get some car seats for our manly trio to ride around in.
Hey, I take that van comment personally! LOL :)
ReplyDeleteAt least your Jeep went to family. :) I remember when we had to trade in my Beetle with the imminent acquisition of a Piper. Tough times, but it is a rite of passage. And you know, even though your new car isn't exactly shy and retiring, it actually looks kinda nice!

As a mother of triplet boys, I love my Dodge Caravan. We took out one of the bucket seats so that we could get easy access to the two in the back row. I didn't think I would ever drive a minivan, but I love it. I hope you have as much success with your transportation device. If you're like us, you won't go out very much in the beginning.
